A little history...
Previously the Church of St Marino the Martyr, it belonged to a noble Fermano family, the Gigliucci Counts.
From the pastoral visit of Cardinal Urbano Paracciani Rutili to Capo d’Arco in 1767:
“This church belongs to Count Domenico Gigliucci, who has the duty to celebrate Mass three times a year, on the Festival of its Saint.”
Inside the house you can find several stones of the period; the main door is original, inscribed A.D. MDCCLVII.
